Hailing from the heartbeat of the South, Pascagoula, MS, Danny Myrick grew up with an ear full of that down home country soul and gospel. Son of a preacher man and singing in a gospel family band, Danny learned the tricks of the trade early on in life, recording his first family album at the age of 7. In 1992 Danny was singing lead vocals and writing for a country band called Western Flyer, which produced the Top 40 Myrick-penned hits "Western Flyer" and "Cherokee Highway" as well as the Top 20 hit "What Will You Do With M.E." After the band broke up Danny turned his focus to songwriting and after five great years with Jeffrey Steele's 3 Ring Circus Music, Danny is now with the exciting new company, Root 49 Music. He has sung numerous songwriter demos for writers such as Bob Dipiero, Craig Wiseman, Dave Berg and Bobby Braddock and has provided background vocals on cd's by Montgomery Gentry, Keith Anderson and Blake Shelton. With a soul full of voice, song, and bit of Mississippi, Danny Myrick is a creative force.

In addition to his hit singles "International Harvester" (Craig Morgan) "Loud" (Big and Rich), "She's Country"  (Jason Aldean--co-written with Bridgette Tatum) and "How Far Do You Want To Go" (Gloriana), Danny has five songs included on the The JaneDear Girls debut, two songs on Big Machine's new vocal group Eden's Edge and Bridgette's new single, “Hillbilly Rockstar.”  He is also co-producing and co-writing the debut album for Elektra Records' artist The Farm. Danny also recently contributed four songs that were included on the newest album from legendary singer Joe Cocker.
